Sumerian Records has signed Grammy Award winning rapper and singer Bizzy Bone. Sumerian Founder Ash Avildsen had this to say:

Originally discovered by the legendary Eazy E when he was only a teenager, Bizzy Bone would go on to change the game forever with the multi platinum selling group Bone Thugs N Harmony. Never before had this hybrid of styles been accomplished in music, transcending the current styles of East Coast and West Coast hip-hop with their own “Midwest sound” that put Cleveland on the map like no other. Bizzy Bone is also one of the only people alive to make music with both Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G.; which is a true reflection of his unmatched diversity as a singer and rapper as well as universal love for his unique style.

Sumerian Records will be releasing “Crossroads 2010” on August 24th, 2010. The release is the most complete and polished album since the release of his critically acclaimed gold selling debut solo album “Heaven’z Movie” in 1998. “Crossroads 2010” is a fresh fusion of hip-hop and rock and features music written by Javier Reyes of Animals As Leaders with guest vocal appearances by Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria, Jonny Craig of Emarosa, Devin Oliver of I See Stars and many more surprises. The Sphinx will not disappoint. There is also a digital-only EP release “Crossover 2010” coming out online July 27th which will feature the three guest vocalists mentioned above. I’m Anthony D Vince-Schmidt aka Lilvince im 20 years old born inChicago raised in Wisconsin i started rapping when i was 16 on akaraoke machine for fun after a while I gain a passion cause I couldsee and hear that I was actually good at this so I started taking itmore serious at age 17 I got my first mic and recording program andstarted doing little tracks and releasing them on Myspace and Youtubeand was gaining good results from the people so I kept at it gettingbetter and better as I went. That summer I release my first mixtapecalled Twisted on the internet and had great success with thatreceiving over 1,000 downloads by fans on the net this made me evenwanna go harder for my next mixtape. When I was 18 I discoveredfacebook and used that more often for promotional use cause I lived ina very small town so It was hard to get the music out there and getnoticed so I used the internet to overcome that. That winter I droppedTwo Twisted my second mixtape and again had great success with thatalso gaining over 5,000 downloads with in a few months the fans werecommenting and asking for more so I took stuff in to my own hands doingall my projects 100% solo trying to make my self more maketable. I dideverything down to mixing my music, creating my own art work, doing allmy own promo on the streetz and the net. After a while I was gettingsmall label wanting to work with me I turned most of them down cause Iwanted to build more of a fan based on my own before I was looking atgetting help im still 100% solo and still on my grind everyday I comeout with new tracks for the fans every week mainly remixes of otherartist tracks and every month I try an drop new mixtapes. In the futureI see myself working with big names in the industry and making thisinto a career I take all this work serious !!!

Bizzy Bone To Sign With Cash Money Records

Cleveland rapper and Bone Thugs member Bizzy Bone is very close to signing a record deal with the ever growing and almighty Cash Money Records CMB.  This could be a really great move for the Cleveland legend Bizzy and also Cleveland hip hop community.

There are no details available at this time, but sources real close to the current negotiations revealed that they plan to reach a deal soon that will call for a  Bizzy Bone album release, that is at least one album on the larger then life Cash Money imprint.

Just imagine the possibilites Lil Wayne and Bizzy Bone on joints! that would be some intense shit right there.
